# How do you Sync Projects with Procore?

## Learn how to sync your projects with Procore.

To sync a project, you must be an admin. You can import a project from Procore as a new project in SmartBarrel, or you can merge a Procore project with an existing SmartBarrel project.

To Import a project, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the Procore Integration page and open the projects list
2. Search for the project you want to sync. You can search by name or project ID. If you can’t find your project, try clicking the refresh button in the top right corner of the list. This button will repopulate the list with the most recent projects from Procore.
3. Click the “Import” button on the right side of the project
4. If the project already exists in SmartBarrel, you can search for it in the list and select merge. If the project does not exist, click “Import as new project”
5. Now that your project is synced, you can begin to sync vendors, cost codes, and configure your settings.

**Note:** If you can’t find your project, try clicking the refresh button in the top right corner of the list. This button will repopulate the list with the most recent projects from Procore. 

If you accidentally sync the wrong project, don’t worry! You can unlink the project by following these steps:

1. Navigate to the Procore project list
2. Find the project you want to unlink
3. Click the 3 dots on the right side
4. Click “Unlink Project”
