      How do I disable and/or delete a cost code?

      In this article, you will learn how to disable or delete a cost code that was not created through an integration

      Step 1. Go to the project > Project Settings > Cost Codes

       

      Step 2. Turn the toggle off of any Cost Code to disable

       

      Step 3. Click on the three-dot icon at the end of the row and select "Delete"

       

      Difference between disable and delete:

      Disable: The cost code will remain in the list, can be imported to another project, and can be used in future cases by turning the toggle on. A cost code can be disabled at any moment

      Delete: The cost code will disappear and will have to be added again in case of future requests. A cost code cannot be deleted if used/assigned to a worker
