This article explains the steps to enable SMS text alerts. If enabled, users will receive a notification message each time an unverified punch or incident report is submitted.
Things to consider:
-
SMS alerts are set per project.
- You need to assign users to receive alerts for each project to which they are assigned.
There are two types of SMS alerts available:
- Unverified Punch Alert
Red circle = Punch is unverified and triggers a text alert
Green circle = Punch is verified, no alert sent
2. Incident Submission Notification
This sends an SMS alert immediately when a worker submits an incident report, whether it’s via SMS or the Mobile App.
Set up SMS Alerts
Step 1. Go to the top right menu and select "Project Settings"
Step 2. Scroll to the Notifications section and turn on the SMS alert options
Step 3. Select the users and click "save."
Step 4. View unverified punches
- From the Project timesheet, you can filter unverified punches for that specific project.
- From the Timesheet Tab, you can also see a list of unverified punches across all projects
