How do you Configure the Plexxis Company Settings?

Learn about the company-level settings available in the Plexxis integration, what they do, and where to find them.

Accessing Company Settings

Navigate to Integrations > Plexxis V2 and click the menu icon (≡) in the upper right corner. Select Company Settings from the menu.

Company Settings controls the global behaviour of the Plexxis V2 integration for your entire company. Changes made here apply to all projects and workers synced through the integration.

 

Employee Sync Settings

These settings control how workers are synced from Plexxis into SmartBarrel.

Setting Description
AutoSync When enabled, SmartBarrel will automatically sync workers from Plexxis on a recurring schedule. This is the easiest way to keep your worker list up to date without manual intervention.
Unlock Fields By default, any fields mapped from Plexxis cannot be edited directly in SmartBarrel. Enabling this setting unlocks those fields, allowing manual edits in SmartBarrel. Only enable this if you intentionally want SmartBarrel edits to take precedence over Plexxis data.
Reset to default on first sync or re-hire When enabled, synced workers will have their SmartBarrel app settings reset to the company default values on their first sync or when re-hired.
Search workers in Contractors When enabled, the worker sync will search across all workers in your entire SmartBarrel environment, including those assigned to separate contractors. Use this if workers have been moved to a different contractor within your SmartBarrel environment.
Do NOT update the contractor on sync When enabled, the sync will not update a worker's contractor assignment in SmartBarrel even if it has changed in Plexxis. This setting is recommended to remain enabled for most Plexxis customers.

 

Default Settings

Default Settings control the app configuration applied to workers when they are first synced or re-hired. These settings only apply if Reset to default on first sync or re-hire is enabled above.

Setting Description
Enable Mobile App Controls whether the SmartBarrel mobile app is enabled for newly synced workers by default.

Click Save to apply any changes made to Company Settings.
