How do I Manage Custom Views in the Company Timesheet?
Custom Views let you save a filtered setup of the Company Timesheet and return to it in one click, without rebuilding the same filters every time.
What a View Is
A View is a saved set of filters for your Company Timesheet. When you save a View, it remembers the filters you currently have applied, so you can jump back to that exact setup later.
Views are personal to you. The Views you create are saved to your own account, and other users do not see them.
ℹ️Every account starts with one built-in View called MyTime. MyTime is always available, always sits at the top of the list, and cannot be renamed or deleted. Any View you build yourself is a custom View.
Opening the Views Dropdown
The Views control sits at the top of the Company Timesheet, next to the worker dropdown. Click it to open the dropdown and select a view or manage views.
The dropdown shows:
- MyTime (the built-in View)
- Your custom Views, in the order you saved them
- A Manage Views button, which stays visible at the bottom even when the list is long

Managing Your Views
Click Manage Views in the dropdown to open the Manage Views window. From here you can create, reorder, and delete Views.
Create a View
- Select the desired filters for your view in the filter panel
- Open the Views dropdown and click Manage Views.

- In the "New Preset from Current View" section, type a name for the View.
- Click Save.
The new View is added to the bottom of your custom Views list. Names must be unique, so if a name is already in use, you will be asked to choose another. The Save button stays inactive until you enter a valid name.

Reorder Views
Drag any View by its handle to move it up or down the list. The new order saves on its own as soon as you drop it, so there is nothing extra to confirm. MyTime cannot be moved and will always be the first view.

Delete a View
Click the delete action next to any custom View to remove it. MyTime does not have a delete action and cannot be removed. If you delete the View you currently have selected, the Company Timesheet returns to its default state.

When you are finished, click OK or the X icon to close the window.
Selecting and Clearing a View
Select a View
Click the views button next to the worker dropdown to see your saved views. Click any custom View to instantly restore filters saved in it.
The View you pick stays highlighted so you always know which setup you are looking at. Your selection also sticks: if you leave the Company Timesheet, come back, or refresh the page, the same View is still applied.

Clear a View
To step out of a saved View, click the X next to the selected View. This clears the selection and its highlight, and returns the Company Timesheet to its default state.
Searching Your Views
Once you have more than 10 Views, a search field appears at the top of the Views dropdown. Start typing and the list narrows to matching names. Clear the search field to see the full list again in its saved order.
What a View Does and Does Not Save
A View saves your current setup, including:
- The selected worker, when one applies
- The selected contractor or contractors
- The selected project or company-level scope
- All applied filters
A View does not save a specific calendar date or a manually picked custom date range.
Who Can Use Views
Views use the same access as the Company Timesheet itself. If you can open the Company Timesheet, you can use Views and Manage Views. There is no separate permission to turn on. The Views you create are your own and are not shared with other users.
