How can I Automatically Apply Break Time?

The break rule feature in the project settings is a simple and efficient tool that automatically deducts time from a worker's timesheet.

Things to consider before applying break rules:

- Break rules will impact all workers within the project.

 - The default setting is "none."

-  Option to customize break time rules as needed.

-  The duration of the break time is shown in minutes.

- The rules will take immediate effect once they are set up.

Set up a Break Rule

The break time rule functionality is enabled and configured in the Project Settings.

Step 1. Go to project > click on the three bar icon in the upper right corner > "Project Settings"

Step 2. Scroll down to "Time Rules" section and click on "Add Rule"

Step 3. Fill in the required blank spaces as needed.

- From/To:  Set the work time required before the automatic break rule triggers.

- Break time: It indicates the duration of the break time in minutes

- Click on the blue icon to save.

*Add as many break rules as needed.

For example,

A worker worked from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., which means his shift was 10 hours. The system will automatically consider his time and assign him a 30-minute break, reducing the total time for the shift.
