[CMiC Integration](https://ask.smartbarrel.io/integrations?hsLang=en#cmic-integration) # CMIC Employees Import Before importing your workers from CMIC to SmartBarrel, ensure all required fields are correctly set up in your CMIC account: ### Required Fields in the CMIC Employee Profile: - **Personal** - First Name (Required) - Last Name (Required) - Status: Active (Required) ![](https://ask.smartbarrel.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image_720%20(3)-png.png?width=670&height=347&name=image_720%20(3)-png.png) - **Company** - E-Time (Required; cannot be blank) *![](https://ask.smartbarrel.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image_720%20(1)-png-1.png?width=670&height=347&name=image_720%20(1)-png-1.png)* - **Address** - Cell Phone (Required; must be a 10-digit unique phone number) ⚠️ *Note:* Only the Cell Phone field is imported by the SmartBarrel API. Other phone number fields will not be imported. ![](https://ask.smartbarrel.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image_720%20(2)-png.png?width=670&height=349&name=image_720%20(2)-png.png) ### Optional Fields in the CMIC Employee Profile: - **Address** - Email (if this field is filled out in CMiC, it will come through to SmartBarrel. It is not required to be filled out for your worker to be imported) ⚠️ *Note 1:* Only the email field is imported by the SmartBarrel API. Other email fields will not be imported. ⚠️ *Note 2:*  If your worker has already been promoted to a User, then the email will not update. This is due to the email being the credentials that the worker logs in with. If you wish for the email to update from CMiC, you will need to demote the employee to a worker and re-import the worker list. ### ![](https://ask.smartbarrel.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-14-2026-07-44-55-2987-PM.png?width=670&height=329&name=image-png-Apr-14-2026-07-44-55-2987-PM.png) - **Trade/Position** - On the Company Settings there is a selection to Enable the Position Import which will pull in the Trade Code associated with the worker to the Position field in SmartBarrel. ### ![](https://ask.smartbarrel.io/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-May-29-2026-12-57-49-3507-PM.png?width=670&height=319&name=image-png-May-29-2026-12-57-49-3507-PM.png) ### Importing Workers from CMIC to SmartBarrel Once your data is verified and ready, follow these simple steps to import your workers from CMIC to SmartBarrel: - Log in to your SmartBarrel Dashboard. - Go to **Integrations**. - Click on **CMIC**. - Access the **Integration Menu**.
