How do you Sync the Procore Vendors on a Project?

Sync Vendors

When you import a project from Procore, the vendors in the project directory will populate in the vendor list in SmartBarrel. The vendor list should appear in both the project’s integration settings and the main project page.


You can sync vendors by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to your project and open the Procore Integration settings
  2. Select the companies from the vendor list that you want to add to SmartBarrel
  3. If they do not have an EIN saved in Procore, you will need to enter it here. If you save the EIN in Procore, the vendor list will be updated for future projects.
  4. If you are syncing the Daily Construction Report in the daily log, you will be required to assign each vendor a trade
  5. Each Vendor will be required to be created as a contractor first. If they have not been created yet, you can click "Create Contractor" and enter their EIN before syncing. 
  6. When you have selected each vendor and entered their EINs, click the “Sync Selected” button.
  7. When the sync process is complete, the selected vendors should be created as subcontractors on your project. You can now add workers to these companies and start tracking their time.
