How do I remove a profile picture?

This article explains the steps to update a profile photo from a worker's profile.


Before You Start

Your profile picture is essential for an accurate match and an effective facial verification process. Every punch photo will be compared to the profile picture for accuracy. 

To update or remove a profile picture, you need the following permissions: 

  • Access to SmartBarrel Dashboard
  •  The appropriate permissions under the timesheet section 

 

How to Remove a Profile Picture

  • Open profile and hover your cursor over the picture to reveal a "❌" icon

 

  • As soon as the profile picture is removed, the system will display the worker's initials

 

How to Add a New Profile Picture 

 A new profile picture is created automatically
  • Have the worker clock in for their next shift
  • The system will capture a punch photo during the clock-in process and  automatically generate a new profile picture. This new picture will be used to compare next punches and facial verification

💡Tip:  Profile pictures are automatically refreshed after 40 punches.
