How do you Set Up the Procore Integration?

Learn how to integrate SmartBarrel and Procore.

Before installing the Procore integration, you must designate a user in Procore with directory admin permissions to authorize the integration. The integration will use this account’s credentials to create and update entries. If desired, you can create a new user specifically for the integration. This user will also need admin permissions in SmartBarrel to access the integrations page.

To install the integration, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the SmartBarrel dashboard and click the Integrations page in the lefthand sidebar menu.
  2. Find the Procore Integration card and click Connect
  3. Follow the prompts and authorize the integration. You may be required to log in to Procore. Make sure to log in to the correct account and select the correct company if your account has multiple
  4. Now that the integration is connected, it will begin loading your projects. From here you can start syncing your projects, workers, timesheets, and more with Procore.

At any point, you can deactivate the integration by toggling it inactive. You can also deauthorize it by clicking the 3 dots on the integration card and then clicking sign out. 

Deactivating the integration will turn off all of its functions until it’s reactivated. Your settings and authorization will remain in place for future use. 

Signing out of the integration will remove the user and their authorization. A new admin user will need to reconnect the integration before it will start working again.
